• what the hell is sandcasting?

    sancasting quite literally means casting metal in sand, I make a mold from jewellery wax, put the stone where I hope it'll end up, and then melt the silver and dump it into the mold

  • why is a sandcast piece so unique?

    the process is chaos! I put the stone where I hope it'll end up but the final result really depends on what the metal decides to do. I can control some things, but for the most, it's all up to chance. This means each ring is somewhat impossible to replicate :-)

  • what will my custom end up looking like?

    great question!!!! We can work with inspiration, and a bigger stone is always more controllable, but for the most part all I can guarantee is that the stone will be submerged in the metal somewhere/somehow. This is all part of the fun knowing what you receive will be unique in it's own ways!

I’ll get back to you within a few days to talk details. We’ll chat materials, gemstones, budget, inspiration, and story. This part’s collaborative — you bring your thoughts, I bring my experience. Together we shape the concept into something physical and wearable.

payment

Once we’ve locked in the direction, I’ll send you a quote. Most customs start around $300 and go up depending on complexity and stones.
Upfront payment is required to lock in the project, and from there I start prepping wax and stones depending on the piece.

I can be flexible with payment plans, this can be discussed in the design process :-)


creation

This is where I disappear into the shadows and work my magic. I’ll keep you posted with updates, and double check with the final wax shape depending on the design.
No two pieces are ever the same, and I put everything I’ve got into every one.


delivery

Once it's cast and polished, your piece gets boxed and shipped via tracked delivery. You’ll get a piece that didn’t exist before — one made for you, with story and soul baked into the metal.
